There is something special about the silence that snow brings! Grounding in the great outdoors is lost on our society; stillness is something of the past! Daisy and I went for a long walk and explored the snowy landscape. She ran, played, kicked up the snow, rolled in it, tossed it over her head and kept looking back to make sure I wasn't lost! But what we both enjoyed was planting our feet in the earth, smelling the fresh air, and hearing the snow crunch below our feet. Being surrounded by naked trees, fragile leaves and the absence of noise... It was intoxicating. I wanted time to stop! How can we love something so much and never do it? How do we continue to fill our days and neglect our nature which is to be in nature! I will remember this forever and will keep a promise to return to her very soon!
